The type of guide service we provide consists of some of the best
local fishing guides in the area. Most of the guide trips are geared toward
walleye. We also have some guides that specialize in Small mouth, Muskie, and
Catfish. All of the guides we use must carry liability insurance. The boats used
vary, with most of them ranging from 18-22 ft. and can carry the guide and 2-3
passengers.
Usually,
people meet the guide and depart from Jimmy’s Bait Shop in the morning.
Most
guides launch out of Bayport. Or if this is a business outing and you want it
more professional, the guides can pickup at Bayport Marina right at the dock
just after you had your coffee at Clyde’s Restaurant. You can be dropped back
off for a nice lunch too.
You bring:
- Proper
clothing / rain gear/sunscreen
- Snacks
and pop.
- MN
Fishing license - $18/person for the year and $9.50 for a one day. These can
be purchased at the Jimmy’s Bait Shop (Stillwater) that morning.

You need a Minnesota license if you are a Minnesota resident.
Wisconsin license if you are a Wisconsin resident. Non-resident license if
you are not from MN of WI.
Guide

and Artificial Bait

life vest sizes available / some carry rain gear
- Willingness
to share Fishing Knowledge and Techniques.
Pricing is as Follows:
Full
Day (8 hours)(this is recommended to experience a true guide trip
and increase your chance to catch more fish)

In order to book the guides for that day, Jimmy’s Bait would need half paid
and the other half due on the morning of the trip. Cash or check preferred.
Small charge may apply if using a credit card. Please schedule at least a week
in advance for small trips and 2-4 weeks for larger trips. Call the shop at
